Beginners Course in Melville
Tango Class at the Dance Cafe with Bert and Lerato
Hi Tango Lovers and Friends
Lerato and I are pleased to announce that we will be starting a group Tango class at the Dance Café in Rivonia.
Our class will start on Monday the 5th of September from 8pm to 9pm.
For us Tango is about the connection, the communication and most importantly the comfort experienced between the couple.
And so, in this class we will explore some of the simple - and more complex - movements we perform in our tango…
Using these… we will explore the possibilities of lead and follow with the goal of achieving
• better connection to each other and the music
• clearer communication between the couple allowing for the ‘active follower’;
• and a comfort within ourselves and our partners that allows the Tango to flow through us.
Expect fun and balloons!
The price for the class is R500 per person per month
(That is Monday’s the 5th , 12th , 19th and the 26th of September.)

that time again at The Dance JunXion! Our exciting new BEGINNER GROUP
courses are starting the week of the 30 August! Singles and Couples
welcome. NO PARTNER necessary for our classes

If you have any friends who want to learn the tango for the
first time. Bring them along for this great introduction to Argentine
Tango. We all have to start somewhere… why not at The Dance JunXion?
Course starts at 19:30 to 20:30 for 6 weeks. Cost R440.00 per person and
includes free entrance to the Milonga (Tango Practice session)
afterwards.
Intermediate Course .
For the month of August ONLY Tony will be teaching the Intermediate to Advanced Argentine Tango lesson from 19:00-19:30 which costs R65.
Weekly Milonga
Tuesday Milonga
The Milonga is weekly on a Tuesday evening 20:00 till 23:00.
Andrea will be playing the music. A Collection of our favourite classic
Tangos, Valsicitos and Milongas; along with some Electro Milonga and
Tango, by Otros Aires, Gotan Project and more -
to mix things up a bit. Music will be played in Tandas.
Entrance fee for the Milonga is R40.00.

Tango at Sea
Dear Tango at Sea Previous Dancers - 2012
Tango at Sea finished our 19th cruise March 13, 2016.
All necessary data for our next sailing from Savona, Italy on September
10-17, 2016; are shown on our web page TangoatSea.com; please take a
look and let me know if you will be booking this sailing.
Also, please note, that we have changed our format.
We are just cruising to various ports of call and then dance the night
away. This makes for a very relaxing cruise and tango vacation. No
more workshops!! There are so many talented dancers and several
suggested we change our format; hope you like this change.
We have on board a very talented DJ who plays traditional Argentine
Tango throughout Europe. Francesco “El Actor” from Switzerland was on
board with our recent tour.
Our dancers on board expressed how much they enjoyed the relaxing
feeling of meeting great dancers from around the world and to dance the
night away to great music.
Please feel free to give me your thoughts.
So, if you are interested, we need to hear from you by June 1, 2016, if
at all possible. There is not much lead time to get the word out.
Anything you can do in your neck of the woods to help spread the word
will be so appreciated here.
