Thursday                             Back to : This Week

Classes and Practica at The Factory on Grant
Hi All,

We start a new cycle of lessons, for experienced couples, looking to advance their tango knowledge and skill.
As usual the cycle is for the month of Thursdays through July – R800 per couple for 4 Thursday
and as there is 5 Thursdays this month, you get the 5th lesson free.  (First Thursday – 6th July)

In this cycle we will look at the “Giro” from a new perspective
bringing in “quadrant work” that leads to understanding of “Secadas”,
and other interesting foot workings for both the man and the woman.

Class starts at 7:30pm at The Factory on Grant, Norwood, and ends at 8:30pm
Dancers are welcome to arrive early to practise and stay after
the class – to practise - as we allow this time for “Practica” at no extra cost – to all.

For more information or to book for this class, contact Bert at touch@tango-tensity.co.za

Hope to see you on the dance floor soon.

Regards
Bert and Lerato

 2. There is now a newly-created Tango calendar for everything happening in Cape Town:

http://www.tangocapetown.com/
The idea is that it's a non-partisan source that offers a comprehensive and easy overview - all classes and events, updated frequently, as accurately as possible.
There also a page with contact details for all the local organisers and teachers, links to their sites, and a google map with all the Tango locations pinned, to help the local community and visitors.
Argentine tango is danced in other cities throughout South Africa.
Details are published in the Tangojoburg website.
