up Tuesday 18th August 2015 at 7:30 till 8:30pm presented by
Tony & Marda. If you have any friends who want to learn the tango for the
first time. Bring them along for this great introduction to Argentine Tango. We
all have to start somewhere… why not at The DanceJunxion?
Our intermediate
Group class continues but on a new time at 18:30 till 19:30pm. Ralph and Bert
& Lerato are working together to make, break and remake tango figures
that include Baridas, Secadas and Boleos. We are now experimenting with Wraps
and Ganchos - finding places to fit them into our existing figures; and
understanding and working with the Technique of Lead and Follow with regard to
all these.
The Milonga is
weekly on a Tuesday evening, the new time is 19:30 till late. Bert will be
playing the music. A Collection of our favourite classic Tangos, Valsicitos and
Milongas; along with some Electro Milonga and Tango, by Otros Aires, Gotan
Project and more - to mix things up a bit. Music will be played in Tandas. It’s
Spring… so dust off the Tango shoes and join us at the DanceJunxion for Tuesday
night Tango.

Greetings to all the
tangueros and tangueras in Joburg and Pretoria that I have encountered on my
various trips to Joburg. Especially love to everybody who wants
it!!.
I am sending these photos
of a pair of Tango sandals that one of our tangueras, Wendi Prinsloo, bought
from Lisa Kamhoot, who imports these fantastic and comfortable tango shoes from
an Italian company, but Wendi discovered that they are just too narrow in the
front for her feet.
Would you include this
information in a Tango newsletter to see if any dancers are interested in these
stylish shoes?
Ladies'Tango sandals: brand
New. Size 5 (37), narrow fit with 8cm heels and padding on the sole,
R2,000.
(On the website they are
selling for €140, so I am selling them for what they cost me)
I have attached the photos
of the shoes and Wendi's email address, as well as Lisa's.
Thank you
