Tango News 24 February Hola Tango Lovers! This week there is a practica and two milongas in the area: The Tuesday milonga is now a practica but still held at the Dance Junxion at Rosebank Mall. Thursday, Emiliano is hosting a milonga at Fumo restaurant in Pretoria. It includes two tango shows and demo lesson. Booking is essential. Erik is hosting the Sunday milonga at the Grillhouse in Atholl Square, Sandton For the competitive spirit: Dance to Be Wild, which includes a social dance championship, will include tango as part of its competition this year. The organization supports dance and efforts to discourage wildlife poaching. The competition starts at 9 a.m. 23 March. But the deadline to register is Saturday 1 March. The style required for competition is salon tango and there are sections for professionals paired with amateurs and for two amateurs. The cost is R150 per entry and R45 per dance .
